Responding to its social commitment not only in Pangasinan, the SBRP joins ABS-CBN’s Sagip Kapamilya relief drive to help the victims who are heavily hit by Typhoon Ondoy.  Initially, directors and officers of SBRP released fifty thousand pesos (P50,000) from its funds to start the campaign.  President Boc’s call to other members yielded more donations in additional fifteen thousand (P15,000) cash and used clothings which were turned over to ABS-CBN local TV network in Dagupan City.

Typhoon Ondoy has killed hundreds of people, displaced thousands of families and destroyed billions of properties and agricultural crops.  As of this time, several places in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac are still under water caused mainly by huge amount of rainfall in just six hours, the most since 1967 flood that clobbered Manila.
